If you want to check out some really awesome Aurora Photos here is a link to the December 2006 Gallery

I have seen Photos like this one come in my e-mail more than once.  When I started seeing a lot of them I figured that they were Fauxtography instead of Photography.  I found out the other night that they are indeed real.  At Live Science they have fourteen more with write ups about the Jets and where they were taken.  This one was taken…

“Off the coast of Pusan, South Korea, July 7, 1999 — An F/A-18 Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron One Five One (VFA-151) breaks the sound barrier in the skies over the Pacific Ocean. VFA-151 is deployed aboard USS Constellation (CVN 64).”

sharon-tate.jpgThese days when you talk about a sick cult leader, your mind, at least my mind automatically goes to President AhmaGenocide (Ahmadinejad) with his sick under developed brain and the Jihad movement that follow him.  He is not the demon I am talking about, the sicko I’m talking about had his so called family kill the beautiful young lady to the left.  Sharon Tate on this day August 9, 1969.

Sharon Marie Tate was born January 24, 1943.  She was a rising American actress and model, she played small roles on  television in the 1960’s, before starting her film career.  Sharon’s celebrity increased when she married film director Roman Polaski.  May Sharon rest in peace and God bring comfort to her family.  Although there are literally thousands of photos of Sharon, this one caught my eye as being very dreamy.

About the sick cult leader, his name is Charles Manson, and as Forest Gump would say, that’s all I have to say about that.

Lucille Désirée Ball was born on this day August 6, 1911, in the small town of Celoron, New York, a suburb of Jamestown.  Lucille Ball had become established as the most popular female comedian on television in the first half-century of prime-time television.  Only fifteen million television sets were to be found in American homes when I Love Lucy premiered during the 1951-1952 television season, three years later, that number had doubled.  Although she played a zany character on television, she was an intelligent,  very hard working, petit beautiful lady.  Lucille died on April 26 1989.  And yes, I Love  Lucy ♥

Darth Vair of course is black, with  a blacked out “grill” bar and headlight bezels.  This car is a 1965 Corvair owned by Chuck Armer.  The Chevrolet Corvair made its debut on this day August 6, 1959.  The Corvair became Motor Trend magazine Car of the Year for 1960.  The 1954-corvette-corvair.jpgCar to the left a 1954 Corvette Corvair was a Motorama Show Car that was based on the production Corvette.  Sadly it was eventually destroyed.  It would undoubtedly occupy a place of honor in the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky had it survived.  Corvair Corsa
