She was a naughty but good at heart young lady in the movie Risky Business, at least that’s how I remember seeing her for the first time. She surely caught my attention, and I have been a fan ever since. Rebecca De Mornay was born on this day August 29, 1959 in Santa Rosa, California USA as Rebecca J. Pearch. Her mother and father George Walter Pearch were split and Her mother Julie Eagar and stepfather Richard De Mornay raised Rebecca, who grew up in France and went to collage in the United Kingdom. Her first movie was “One from the Heat” in 1982. Then in 1983 she played Lana, an entrepreneur prostitute in the movie “Risky Business” but her most successful film to date was “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle” in 1992. A few of the many other movies she starred in are “And God Created Woman” 1988, Dealers 1989, Backdraft 1991, The Three Musketeers 1993, Guilty as Sin 1993, Never Talk to Strangers 1995, Thick as Thieves 1999, Identity 2003, and Wedding Crashers in 2006. De Mornay also played the voice of Beauty in the 1987 film Beauty and the Beast, a fitting role for such a beautiful lady herself.
