“The possibility that we could ever again recover the correct pronunciation of ancient Hebrew, is as remote as the possibility that a Jewish empire will ever again be established in the Middle East.” – Encyclopedia Britannica – 1911
If you live on planet earth, more than likely you are aware that history has proven the Encyclopedia Britannica and this statement wrong. The “Jewish empire” established in 1948, is named Israel and yes, the people speak Hebrew. I would have to guess that at the time in 1911, this statement was widely believed by some because a Hebrew spoken Jewish empire in the Middle East seemed so unthinkable. I assume that is why the Encyclopedia Britannica put forth this statement, and chose to rebuke the prophesy of The Almighty God. The Holy Bible prophesied these two very things would be fulfilled in time. Two of the chapters in the Bible that told of this prophesy are Ezekiel 36 and 37. If you are one who does not know the Bible, you are probably wondering what Ezekiel 38 has to say. In this day and age the Prophesy of Ezekiel 38 seems to be everywhere. It is not only in many best selling fiction and non fiction books, but it seems to many people, that the pawns are being moved into place for the literal fulfillment of this prophesy in our near future. You can see this in the news headlines from around the world, as well as the actions going on in the Middle East. I suggest you seek your own understanding of this chapter in the Bible. A book that I would recommend to explain this Bible chapter would be Epicenter by Joel Rosenberg, I would also recommend the movie but I have yet to see it. You could also browse the internet to get a basic understanding of this prophesy. I have to warn you that it is not a comfortable thing to come to grips with, unless you have your faith in Yeshua HaMoshiach or Jesus the Messiah, even so it may still be unsettling. God Bless
The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.
He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, [It will be] fair weather: for the sky is red.
And in the morning, [It will be] foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O [ye] hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not [discern] the signs of the times?
